We Turn Numbers Into Decisions That Actually Work
Since 2018, eltrivonquex has been helping Australian businesses make sense of their financial data. We're not accountants. We're financial analysts who care about whether you're making the right call on that expansion, that hire, or that investment.
Most business owners have plenty of data. What they don't have is clarity about what it all means for the next quarter or the next three years. That's where we come in.
What Drives Our Work
These aren't just nice words on a wall. They're the principles that shape how we work with clients every single day. When a business owner trusts us with their numbers, we take that seriously.
Real Talk About Money
We don't sugarcoat bad news or oversell good news. Last year, we advised a retail client against expanding to a third location because their margins couldn't support it yet. They weren't happy at first. Six months later, they thanked us when they saw what happened to similar businesses that overextended.
Context Over Formulas
Every business is different. A 15% profit margin might be excellent for one industry and terrible for another. We spend time understanding your specific situation before we make recommendations. Cookie-cutter analysis doesn't help anyone.
Long-Term Relationships
Our oldest client has been with us since 2019. We've watched their revenue grow from $800K to just over $3 million. That kind of relationship only works when you're honest, available, and genuinely invested in their success.
Teaching, Not Just Telling
We explain our reasoning. If we recommend changing your pricing structure or cutting a product line, you'll understand exactly why. Our goal is to help you develop better financial instincts over time, not keep you dependent on us forever.
How We Got Here
eltrivonquex started because we saw too many good businesses fail for preventable reasons. Not because they had bad products or lazy owners, but because they didn't see the warning signs in their numbers until it was too late.
2018 – Started with a frustration
After watching three clients at a previous firm go under despite having profitable products, we realized the problem wasn't the accounting. It was the analysis, or lack of it. Traditional bookkeeping tells you what happened. Financial analysis tells you what to do next.
2020 – Pandemic pivot that worked
When everything shut down, we moved our entire practice online within two weeks. It forced us to streamline our processes and find better ways to communicate complex financial concepts remotely. Turns out, screen-sharing a financial model is often clearer than pointing at printed spreadsheets.
2022 – Expanded beyond Sydney
Our remote setup meant we could work with businesses anywhere in Australia. We added clients in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth. Each region has its own market dynamics, which made our analysis work more interesting and nuanced.
2024 – Built our own forecasting tools
Off-the-shelf software wasn't cutting it for the specific scenarios our clients faced. So we built custom models for cash flow forecasting, scenario planning, and margin analysis. These tools now save our clients hours of manual work every month.
2025 – Teaching what we know
We're launching educational programs this autumn because we believe more business owners should understand financial analysis. Not everyone needs to hire an analyst, but everyone should know how to read their own numbers properly.

We Start With Questions
Before we touch your data, we ask what decisions you're trying to make. Are you considering a new hire? Thinking about raising prices? Wondering if that new service line is worth it? The analysis we do depends entirely on what you need to decide.

We Build Scenarios
Most business decisions aren't black and white. So we model different scenarios. What happens if revenue grows 10% versus 20%? What if costs increase faster than expected? What if that new competitor actually impacts your market share? Seeing the range of possibilities helps you make better choices.

We Explain Everything
You shouldn't need a finance degree to understand our recommendations. We present findings in plain language with visual aids that make sense. And we're always available to answer follow-up questions because the first explanation doesn't always stick.
The People Behind The Analysis
We're a small team, which is intentional. Every client works directly with experienced analysts who actually care about the outcome. No junior staff, no hand-offs, no getting lost in a big firm.

Callum Ström
Spent eight years in corporate finance before realizing he preferred helping smaller businesses make smarter decisions. Specializes in cash flow management and has an uncanny ability to spot financial risks before they become problems.

Fergus Lindqvist
Background in economics and data science. Builds the forecasting models that help clients plan for different business scenarios. Known for asking uncomfortable but necessary questions about business assumptions that might not hold up.
